How Long Should It Take to Learn the Lead Guitar Part to Don't Stop Believing by Journey?
A learn lead guitar question that should definitely interest you all this week
Question: I’ve just started to learn the intro on guitar and I was wondering how long it would take to learn the whole song? (And if the start of the solo is swept because I’m useless at it)?
Answer: Basically it will take as long as it takes. Everyone learns things at different paces, so just keep working at it and you’ll get it when you get it 
You are the only one who can answer but I guarantee it’s not as hard as your as your mind is telling you.

It’s a really easy solo except for the start of the solo. I cheat and just slide from the 4th fret on the high E string to the 16th fret and play the rest normally. It sounds better in my opinion. It took me about 5 minutes to learn but i’ve been playing for awhile now.
