Answer: i would go with guitar. nothing wrong with piano. as a matter of fact, it is very fundamental and a great key to learning a lot about music. but guitar is an incredible instrument with endless options as far as what sounds you can produce with it. guitar allows you to move around on stage as well. and hey, if all else fails, you can always compromise with a keytar. if you can pull that off, you are set.
