The rhythm plays first in this song and you’ll hear the lead later into the song

"Lead" and "rhythm" are simply roles a guitarist plays in a band. There’s nothing different about their actual equipment.

rythem guitar is the same as someone singing harmony, mostly chords and will be amped down a little, this is the song part of the song. Lead guitar is played mostly by note and this would be the music part of the song, or the solo, or the bridge.
Fender is lead, les paul is rythem usually

The lead guitar plays the main music, the rhythm guitar plays a repeating tune that give rhythm to the song or background tunes.
