		<description>Rhythm guitarists usually just play solid chord patterns throughout a song, whereas lead guitarists play the solos and &quot;layer&quot; picked melodies/riffs over the rhythm guitarists sound.

Some bands have members that stick to that role always, and will be clearly labelled &quot;rhythm&quot; and &quot;lead&quot;. Others will switch around roles depending on the song/vocals. I think the Arctics are more like the latter...I used to get confused about them too.</description>
