What is the Best Guitar Lead for Heavy Metal?

I just love answering these lead guitar questions. Here’s another:

Question: I have been through 5 jazz leads and 2 Indie leads, but because the type of music, as soon as I start playing my fast Pentatonic metal licks, the guitar lead just starts to smoulder slowly.

What is the best cable for Heavy metal, the kind that will be fine with louder faster riffs?
I am aware that Dimebag Darrell had a similar problem with Jazz leads, and he had to get cable a that was coating in dragons tears, and the sweat of Jimi Hendrix.

Answer: Honestly there are many, many types of lead guitars for metal but if you’re looking for that heavy type of sound you seem to be describing I would look into buying a Dean guitar. Even a cheap one will have that heavy metal sound.
