What Does a Lead Foot Guitar Pedal Do?
This week’s question is a good one. Let’s have a look:
Question: What Does a Lead Foot Guitar Pedal Do?
Answer: Lead Foot is a brand of effects pedal. They make volume and sustain pedals and also switches to allow switching from one amp to another.

There are mountains of different foot pedals for guitar so I am not 100% certain which one you are referring too.
If you simply mean a pedal to use when kicking into a solo, I would guess it is simply used to boost the volume slightly so that it suddenly sticks out in the music mix without taking hands off the guitar to turn the amp up.
What pedal ? You mean like a volume or wha/whammy pedals or effects pedal switches ?
When you play a solo with an electric guitar and you want to give it some kind of distortion, you can use a foot pedal. There are many different type of foot pedal and each one gives you a different "feel" for the solo. Some amplifier have the same distortion than a foot pedal, just pressing a button, but if you are in the middle of performing is easier using your foot than your finger.
depends-there are lots of them, all giving different effects, some change from clean to distortion, some add effects like a wah peddle, etc… I just use the wah but others can have a whole rack of them with different combinations to choose from.
A "Lead" pedal?
You could be referring to a bass or treble booster depending on your style of lead playing.generally though pedals do what they say they do.
