What Do You Think of "RICHIE SAMBORA "(Bon Jovi Lead Guitarist) As a GUITAR Player ?
Keep the lead guitar questions coming! I liked this one:
Question: * Do you think Richie Sambora guitar playing skills are Not Good, Average, Above Average, Great, or Other ?
* Does playing in Bon Jovi keep Mr.Sambora from showing his guitar chops?
Answer: I think he is one of the better rock guitarist of our generation – and certainly an amazing musician. One need only listen to his two solo albums to know how talented he is. While being in Bon Jovi’s spotlight may seem to dim the brightness of his star, it also gives him an opportunity to shine before millions more fans than would ever see him if he performed solo. I think it is a win-win.
Mr. Sambora displayed great chops while playing in Bon Jovi, I have to admit: I would rate him at least a near great.
A true guitarist does his best even on songs that suck.
He’s lulzy, just like the rest of Bon Joki
Sambora is a good guitar player and I also think his solo album,1991’s Stranger In This Town is very underrated!
Ballad of Youth was my song of the moment when it came out(I was 16 at the time).
