Punk Guitar 1000-1500$ For Rythem and Lead?
I just love answering these lead guitar questions. Here’s another:
Question: i wass thinking either fender strat american made, white, with maple, and humbucker, but i dont know, i wanted a les paul but i dont want a studio, what should i get?
i have a martin which was 1000 and been playing for 3 years, rythem guitarist and sometimes lead in a band, i really like blink-182, green day kinda stuff

Answer: Why are you spending so much on a Punk guitar? Wouldn’t any good guitar do?
Get a Dan electro cheap guitar. They are really fun to play.
You can also get a PRS SE for half that and it would be better than an American Strat. Get something with EMG pickups maybe to get a more stronger treble sound.
Otherwise, the cheap LTD with the maple neck is also fun to play.
I would not get the Les Paul, that’s too "bassy" for punk. And it looks to established.
I’ve seen a lot of punk bands with a hollowbody gretsch for rhythm these days, that seems to be in. or a gibson SG or plain old strat. or Ibanez JEM is pretty cool
