Lead Guitar?

I just love answering these lead guitar questions. Here’s another:

Question: this question is for all you rock guitarists out there…. can any of you guys pleeeeeease give me the tabs for some very basic lead stuff that would sound ok for a rock song. I know lots of it is made up on the spot, but plase just give me an idea of where to start. Thanks dudes.
Answer: Check out some sheet music or music books at any shop that sells guitars…there should be lots of different options for guitar tabliture.

Nirvana – Come As You Are (the 1st tune I learnt and a great one to start with)

buy Chuck Berrys, The Great 28,,, after all, he’s the real king of rock-n-roll,,, most of his stuff is in flat keys, so just move it up or down a half step,, or pitch your axe a half step down,, , btw,, Jimmy Johnson is the piano player on those recordings

It has a whole site dedicated to guitar tabs. I recommend ones from Green Day or AC/DC because they are fairly easy powerchords.

check out ultimate guitar .com or alternately if you want to just jam find out what key the song is in and just use your pentatonics and major/minor/blues scales to make up your own stuff
