Help! My Lip Keeps Wobbling and Movin when I Play Lead Guitar and Its Embarassing! How Do I Get It to Stop?
What a great lead guitar question:
Question: I play normal guitar chords and sing and im fine, but as soon as i have to play lead, my lip moves in all sorts of directions for some reason, almost every note i hit, it moves dramatically by itself! anyone have a clue whats going on and how i can stop it??
Answer: It is generally a good sign if lead guitarists mouths work with the music. Busy fingers and a poker face can be a sign of just randomly playing notes without really meaning any of it. If you sing with the guitar, whether loudly like George Benson, or just softly without thinking about it, then it keeps you to playing the notes you mean, which is more satisfying for the listeners. youTube some Joe Walsh or Carlos Santana. They are genuine guitar heroes, and yet see how hard they work their faces. Then stop worrying.

Put on a mask
……..really?
it sounds like you’re just getting your whole body into the music. but if you think something is really wrong, go see a doctor, silly! sometimes people have little damages in their nerves that cause body parts to do strange things. you could have a problem like that. all of your nerves are connected, so there might be an issues with the ones with your fingers&your mouth.
BEST OF LUCK!
