Can You Use a Bass Multi Effects Pedal and a Lead Guitar?

Question: i bought a boss me 50b which is a bass pedal, boss make the same pedal for lead guitars ‘boss me 50′. so could i use the bass pedal? and would it change the sound?
Answer: The ME50B is optimized for use with a bass. Pretty much everything about it is designed to enhance the tonal qualities of a bass… not a guitar.
There would be no point in manufacturing two different products if they were exactly the same. They sound different, and the ME50 would definitely sound better with a guitar than the ME50B.
Sure, if you don’t mind a huge loss of the high frequency range.
