Can You Play Lead Guitar, Ryhthm Guitar, and Bass Guitar in One Song?
What’s this week’s lead guitar question? Let’s dive straight in…
Question: Not like 1 person doing it obviously 3 people, but is it possible to have that much guitar in one song?
Wasn’t aware that there was a jazz guitar
Wasn’t aware that there was a jazz guitar
Answer: That describes the majority of the Beatles’ output. George on lead, John on rhythm, Paul on bass.

Yes… a lot of rock and metal bands include a lead guitarist, rhythm guitarist, and a bass guitarist. Usually, the rhythm guitarist and/or bass guitarist gives some kind of vocals, too.
Yeah, of course many rock/ heavier music will have a lead/ and rythm(or more) guitarist(s). My current band has three guitars.
When it comes to guitars, it’s never too much
Seriously, there are some songs with over a dozen guitars playing simultaneously and they sound amazing.
You really don’t know crap about JAZZ guitar, do you? You don’t need 3 people to play lead, rhythm and bass in one song.. most decent JAZZ GUITARISTS can PLAY ALL 3 AT THE SAME TIME and ON THE SAME GUITAR..
Of course that pretty much is the staple of rock music. Guns N Roses were a classic example of such
Add a singer and drummer and you have the basic setup for any rock style genre.
I’ve even seen bands with 2 lead guitar players that will harmonize with each other over the lead parts.
