Can I Use a Guitar Lead for Bass?
Keep the lead guitar questions coming! I liked this one:
Question: I have a bass guitar and a bass amp, but a guitar lead.
Answer: No problem. I have seen special bass guitar cables that are somehow different to compensate for the lower frequencies, but I think it’s probably just a waste of money for most of us. An instrument cable is basically an instrument cable and you can use it for any instrument. What does matter is to get a good quality shielded cable though.
They’re the same thing, so go ahead and use it. It’s not a guitar lead, it’s an instrument cable.
