Best Lead Guitar for Under £500?
What’s this week’s question? Let’s dive straight in…
Question: Im looking to get a new guitar in the next month or so as I am in a band and im lead guitarist. Because im lead guitarist there are a few things im gonna be needing. The main things are:
-Whammy- it has to have a whammy for shredding etc.
-24 frets.
-At least 2 humbucker pickups, preferably active but thats not so important.
-It needs to be extremely comfortable to play
-It needs to have some excellent rythm capabilities aswell
-Id rather it wasnt all black as I mainly have black guitars. Id love a white guitar but most colours will be fine.
-Has to be really good for lead playing for stuff like bullet for my valentine, metallica, black sabbath.

Some of the guitars I found were the ibanez s series s770, the ibanez rg350dx in white, the rgA72 and the Jackson Pro Series Dinky DK2s but any suggestions are welcome and thanks to everyone for any help you can give me ![]()
Answer: I would most definitely recommend one of the Ibanez’ because they are fairly small and the neck is thin. I love the Ibanez’ for all of these reasons. Also because they sound killer to the right Amp setting!
