Question: Im looking for a guitar that’s best for rhythm players, my friend here is playing lead and singing, and my other friend is playing bass, and I chose a backing guitar to harmonize with the lead guitar, so Ive heard some people suggest a gibson sg or a fender telecaster, but I wanted get some other ideas, so hit me with your best shot!
I dont lower my standards because is you dont do the dirty work then whose gunna do it?

Answer: I’m really not sure the type of guitar makes to much of a difference, it’s all in your technique as a rhythm player and the style of music you’re playing.
I guess you might want something to cover a more mid-range sound so go for a guitar with humbuckers. Gibson SG’s have a small body with low resonance so they have a more shrill sound. Try a Les Paul or something similar. Maybe a Gretsch electromatic or an epiphone dot.

But again, most of it has to do with how you play it.
More than anything, just find a guitar that you like!

A tough lead guitar question this week. Let’s dive straight in

Question: Hi what does a intro, chorus, verse , solo, outro or if there are any other of these related terms of the parts in the song please explain to me the details of them,. 5 star for best answer

Answer: Intro and Outro: Basically the intro intruduces the song, and in most songs, its generally just instrumental to kinda give the feel of the song, and then the outro makes the song end smoothly and make sense
Verses: a musical structure with a certain rhythm that repeats at least twice through out the song, with the chorus separating the verses, though lyrics for the verses are different even though the music stays basically the same
Chorus: the main part of the song, which can be slower or faster then the verse, but basically is the part that repeats the same lyrics and music, and it generally repeats a couple times at the end of the song
Bridge: A completely different rhythm from the chorus and verse that comes usually after the second time the chorus is repeated, instead of having another verse

hope that was helpful! also just listen to any song, and you’ll see how some parts repeat the same(the chorus) and some parts sound the same but have different lyrics(verses) and then there’s a completely different part somewhere near the end of the song(the bridge) and then the intro and outro are pretty much the easiest to know, since they are at the beginning and end of songs, though some songs don’t have them

In my opinion –
Drums and bass are most important
then rhythm guitar
then finally lead.

I see lead guitar as the decoration of the music. You have to have the basics down from the bass and drums to start with, or its all a big mess.

what do you think?

Answer: Lead Guitar is just for show and tricks in its own way, so I agree there. I actually play both drum and bass, so I guess I would be biased saying Drum and Bass are the best. I will put them in order, starting with top priority. Bass, Rhythm, Drums, Lead. Bass keeps the songs "feel" throughout. Rhythm is the same, but with that high guitar sound. You don’t need drums, persay. But for most genres, it’s impressive and fun. It’s what the crowd is banging their heads to.
